My biggest surprise while visiting the castle of Vincennes (east of Paris) was the encounter of the cat that apparently made the dungeon her permanent home. Visibly used to numerous visitors, she nevertheless seemed to appreciate my intrerest and time spent photographing her, looking sad when the playing and petting session was over.
